Dragons Team Rules & Procedures

The main mission of the Dragons' Team is to create a safe & engaging environment  which allows each student the opportunity to learn, and each teacher the opportunity to teach. To do this we established expectations, policies, and rules to mold and guide our teams choices and behaviors.

Expectations

Parents will:

  • Check student agendas & teacher websites daily
  • Monitor student effort at home
  • Communicating with teachers in a professional manner, through proper channels; addressing conflicts and challenges quickly (No Drop Ins)
  • Review and sign progress reports/papers

Students will:

  • Come to class prepared and on time
  • Give 100% effort
  • Follow all rules and procedures
  • Write assignments in agenda
  • Be responsible for getting missing/late work
  • Turn in completed work on time

 

The Teachers will:

  • Maintain their websites with assignments and announcements.
  • Post assignments visibly on the board
  • Offer lunch help sessions
  • Create lessons with clear objectives and expectations
  • Communicate grades with parents via progress reports every 3 weeks
  • Turn in completed work on time
